Re: Nolan set to miss 6 weeks with shoulder injury
He'll be rubbish for six weeks after he comes back to the team.

And he'll be given those six weeks.

Sorry, my glass has somehow become quite empty, and I always get pessimistic when that happens

Re: Nolan set to miss 6 weeks with shoulder injury
Just hope we do really well in those six weeks as he can't possibly get back in the side then...

If we play like we did at Palace for the next 6 weeks he will never play for us again, even BFS isn't that stupid.

Re: Nolan set to miss 6 weeks with shoulder injury
I don't mind Nolan, but he does dictate how we play too much.

He'd make a good plan b as a second half sub when we are chasing a game and start looking more for knock downs in the box.

I hope Morrison gets a chance like Zarate did to show what he can do there, as Nolan could be 3rd choice for his position.

Zarate is in possession and, if he continues the form shown against Palace, should remain so.

Nolan is only a problem if played at all costs ahead of better options.

This could save Sams job.

Re: Nolan set to miss 6 weeks with shoulder injury
I like Nolan, but he's neither machine or avatar - just a human doing a job.

This could be the ideal opportunity for both him and the club to introduce a face-saving re-levelling strategy whereby Nolan's primary role is not on of a mandatory place-holder in the starting 11 but there to be used as a sub when required (as already suggested).

If he adopts the mantle of "The one who turns games around in the last half hour", he could maintain his favoured position within the club structure.

The fella needs a rest. He has been holding the team together for the last 2 years. Hopefully Nolan can take a long earned rest for the remainder of this season.

Not all teams are Crystal Palace. We'll miss him.

His legs have gone. We won't miss him ambling around the pitch and goal hanging.

Gutted about this....

Thought a fractured shoulder would be at least 3 months...

Re: Nolan set to miss 6 weeks with shoulder injury
Ideally, he'll recover fully, but in the meantime, more trees will be pulled up by Zarate and the other forwards, and he himself and Sam will readilly admit that his starting place is gone until further notice. Keep him as player/coach/dressing room vice captain. Mark Noble for captain proper.

Sorted.

Re: Nolan set to miss 6 weeks with shoulder injury
Hopefully he dies from these injuries and never plays again.

If this cunt ever starts over Zarate it will be like us not playing Mascherano. (Hands down best player at the World Cup of course.)

As opposed to what? Him dying and making a comeback?

If you are a comdey poster, you're really not very good at it. Trying too hard to be contraversial.

If you are for real, then you are a snidey little cunt who I would happily kick clean in the face.

Either way, fuck off you boring drip.
